Thoughts from the coach......When I grew up every tennis club in the country had everybody wearing tennis clothing only and often only white with a bit of colour. If you look back people looked really good and you could see we were tennis players. Footballers, cricketers, hockey players, netball players wear a uniform type of clothing when playing. Unfortunately tennis seems to the sport that is becoming unrecognisable in regards to clothing. Like other sports we as a club also have a particular dress code and we aim to help keep that going. 

At the same time we are aware that keeping costs down for parents is important, hence why we allow sports wear in the red, orange and green ball levels rather than tennis specific clothing. However once your child gets to yellow ball we have a tennis wear only rule. Its important not to forget that tennis clothing and shoes can be also used for other sports and even day to day use, thus saving money.

Sports shirt or T-shirt (No belly tops)

Loose fitting tracksuit trousers only

Tennis Specific Clothing can be worn
